About Joy
Is Joy right for a total beginner?
Absolutely, that's exactly who she's for. Joy is well balanced and easy to control, so she's forgiving while you find your feet, and she has plenty to give as your game grows.
I've played tennis or squash before. Will Joy suit me?
Yes. Lots of our community come from other racket sports. Joy will feel friendly from the first rally.
What comes in the box?
Your Joy racket, a string ball bag, a racket cover and a Maman Padel keyring, plus a handwritten note from us, because that's just how we do things.
When will my Joy arrive?
Joy is currently on pre-order and will be dispatched on 14 October. We'll email you tracking as soon as she's on her way
The Kit
What are the t-shirts made from?
100% breathable polyester mesh, designed to keep you cool on court. They have a relaxed, slightly longer fit that looks just as good off court.
What size should I get?
Our tees are unisex, so they're a little roomier than a fitted women's top. Helen is a UK size 12 and wears a medium. Check the size guide on each product page, and if you're between sizes and like a closer fit, size down.
Why do the t-shirts take longer to arrive?
Everyone is made to order, just for you. That means less waste, and it takes around 7 days to reach you.
Orders & Delivery
How much is delivery?
Delivery is FREE on all UK orders. Maman Padel ships to the UK only.
Do you ship outside the UK?
No, sorry!
If I order Joy and a t-shirt together, will they arrive together?
No, sorry! We ship the rackets from our UK location and t-shirts are made to order.
How can I track my order?
You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order is dispatched.
Returns
Can I return something?
Yes. You have 14 days from receiving your order to let us know you'd like to return it. Items need to be unused and in their original condition. For Joy,that means unplayed, with the cover, all accessories, plastic wrapped handle in tact and in the original box. Please email hello@mamanpadel.com to confirm your return and we’ll send you all the details. Return postage is paid for by the customer.
What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?
We're so sorry if that happens. Email us at hello@mamanpadel.com with a photo within 3 working days and we'll put it right.
Maman Padel Social Club
What is the Social Club?
Monthly Sunday morning padel at Padel People in Corsham. Rackets, balls, coaching, snacks and a drink are all included for £20.
Do I need to be good at padel?
Not at all. It's open to every level, including people who have never picked up a racket.
Can I come on my own?
Please do. Plenty of people come solo and leave with a new favourite bunch.
Do I need my own racket?
No, we provide everything. Bring Joy if you have her, though.
How do I book?
Through our Events page. Spots are limited, so book early.
